It's that time of year again – a wintry mix is on the way! While this forecast has been tough for meteorologists to pin down, UNA officials have a plan for whatever the weather might bring.
Power Outage Contingencies
- The Student Rec Center serves as a shelter space and runs on a generator.
- The power grid in the residence halls is split into two, so sometimes the power will go out in some buildings and not others.
Meal Options
- Residential students who choose to stay on campus should be able to make it to Mane Market, the cafeteria located at Rice Hall, for meals.
- Chartwells staff are prepared to stay on campus should that be necessary.
Campus Staff
- Facilities staff will stay on campus to clear any walkways and debris as it is safe to do so.
- Housing & Residence Life Area Coordinator on duty will have emergency supplies ready to go.
- Other University staff will be available as needed.
